Base Camp Films
Base Camp Films develops and produces a wide range of entertainment projects with a core expertise in the production of non-scripted television series.
Base Camp has developed or produced programs for such studios and networks as ABC, A&E, BBC America, Discovery, E!, Fox Alternative, Fox TV Studios, GSN, MTV, Imagine Entertainment, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures Television, SyFy, and Twentieth Century Fox Television. BCF also creates and develops formats for the worldwide market, and adapts international formats for production in the U.S.
BCF producers Brady Connell and Jim Jusko served as executive producer (showrunner) and consulting producer, respectively, on ABC’s hit series, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Connell received two Emmy awards as supervising producer of CBS’s The Amazing Race and served as senior producer on CBS’s Survivor in its Emmy-winning season. During his many years working in factual entertainment, Connell has produced and/or directed over 1400 hours of television, serving primarily as Executive Producer/showrunner and/or DGA director.
Jim Jusko leads Base Camp’s pro-social content initiatives that have included program development for non-profit institutions such as the Hult Prize Foundation, PetSmart Charities and the American Red Cross. He developed and launched an educational app and virtual playspace for children and also leads development of BCF’s children’s programming slate in addition to having served as executive producer (showrunner) on several BCF projects.
Base Camp Films collaborates with networks, studios, sponsors and other partners to produce and market projects with positive, broad audience appeal. We are proud of the shows we have developed and produced, and we are enthused to continually expand our efforts to provide - in any medium - programming that is impactful, enduring and entertaining.
