“No Boundaries” Marathon Airs on Fox Reality Channel

Aug. 1, 2006

“No Boundaries has a physical intensity most of the competition lacks….the best unwatched reality show since CBS’s ‘The Amazing Race’.”

-Tom Long, Detroit Free Press

Five years after it began airing on The WB, the first season of “No Boundaries” returns to the airwaves again on the Fox Reality Channel August 6, 2006. Although the series was not renewed, the first season has a cult following… all 13 episodes aired three times back in 2002 on OLN, and the series aired once before on the new Fox Reality Channel. It also aired internationally to great acclaim, including five airings in Canada on Global TV, beating “The Amazing Race” and “Survivor” in the ratings, consistently finishing in the top 10 with ratings increases each week. Executive Produced by two-time Emmy winner Brady Connell (”Survivor,” “The Amazing Race”) and Jim Jusko (”Air Bud”), “No Boundaries” charts the 2,000 mile journey of 15 individuals on a physical and personal quest to the Arctic Circle.

“‘No Boundaries’ is a well-produced hour that - to its credit - bucks the current gross-out trend (’Fear Factor’).”

-Verne Gay, Newsday

“The show is about leadership and teamwork… unfortunately, at the time, viewers were looking for bug-eating and body-slamming. The contestants on our show were searching for something greater than just winning, and we believe they found it,” says Jim Jusko of Base Camp Films. Connell states, “Everyone intellectually knows it’s about ‘the journey,’ but few people actually have an intense experience like this that proves it. These contestants did not become household names, but they walked away with something much greater – clarity and purpose.”

“With genuine challenges and dangers, this is the gutsy show ‘Survivor’ will never be.”

-Dave Mason, Scripps Howard News Service

Base Camp Films will produce original “reality revealed” material for the Fox Reality Channel’s marathon of “No Boundaries.”

“No Boundaries” was produced in association with Lions Gate Television and the Ford Motor Company. Base Camp Films recently produced the successful series “Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive” for E! and is in partnership with Imagine Television’s Ron Howard and David Nevins on the futuristic reality show “X-Quest.”
