They are genuine adrenaline junkies - talented precision drivers, skilled engine designers and builders – and they live for the thrill of street racing. In a sport that operates partly inside and partly outside the law, its enthusiasts spend tens of thousands of dollars and countless nights and weekends on their cars, all to maximize their car’s absolute speed in events that are won or lost in just a few frantic seconds.
This Discovery Channel show follows two enthusiasts from the street racing scene as they work with expert tuners and designers to make big changes to the look and performance of their cars. Ultimately, the racers test their stuff on a track to race for bragging rights, and to determine whose work has earned new respect.
